Food Review: Shiki Sushi Bar & Japanese Grill
Shiki has been a frequent stop of mine lately, here is an overview of what I ate.
Shiki is a popular japanese restaurant on Sherman Avenue that is mainly known for their sushi and cozy dining experience. My friends and I have had a few of their house rolls across the last few weeks.
From left to right in the images below, I got the fantastic roll, green peace roll, and the house special roll. In the last two images we got the omakase (nigiri appetizer).
My favorite out of the three house rolls was the fantastic roll, the spicy tuna, red snapper, and eel sauce paired well together. The service was nice and the food came out quickly despite how busy it was.
The green peace roll was nice and refreshing with the avocado and mango, while the house special is light and spicy. Every sushi roll I've had so far has been delicious and unique.
Shiki has a wide selection of rolls and nigiri, as well as many other salads, soups, and rice dishes. Although I haven't had many of their other menu items, I do recommend Shiki's sushi.
